Spartanburg, Minnesota Vikings?

Former Spartanburg standout CBQJajuan Nelson is now a member of the Minnesota Vikings.

Nelson was a member of the Vikings practice squad in 2022 and will now have an opportunity to compete for a roster spot in 2023.

Nelson was a standout at Broome High School in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where he helped lead the Centurions to a state championship in 2015.

He was a four-star recruit and signed with the University of South Carolina, where he was a three-year starter.

Nelson has good size at 6'1", 200 pounds, and he runs a 4.4-second 40-yard dash.

He is a physical corner who is not afraid to tackle and has good ball skills.

Nelson will have a chance to compete for a roster spot with the Vikings in 2023.

The Vikings have a young and talented secondary, but Nelson has the potential to be a valuable contributor.

He is a hard worker and has a lot of upside.

If he can continue to develop, he could be a key piece for the Vikings' defense in the future.
