Patriots Injury Report: Sidy Sow Out Again, 4 Others Questionable
Sow has missed two straight games with an ankle injury
Sidy Sow will miss his third consecutive game when the Patriots host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. The defensive tackle suffered an ankle injury in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns. Per ESPN's Mike Reiss, Sow will not play this weekend.
In addition to Sow, four other Patriots players are questionable for Sunday's game: linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley (knee), wide receiver DeVante Parker (knee), running back Damien Harris (hamstring), and cornerback Jalen Mills (groin). All four players were limited in practice this week.
Bentley has missed the past two games with a knee injury. Parker has been dealing with a knee injury since Week 4. Harris suffered a hamstring injury in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears. Mills suffered a groin injury in Week 7 against the Bears as well.
Sow's absence a blow to Patriots' defense
Sow has been a key part of the Patriots' defense this season, starting six games and recording nine tackles and one sack. His absence will be a blow to the Patriots' defense, which is already without injured defensive tackle Christian Barmore (knee).
The Patriots will be hoping to get some of their other injured players back for Sunday's game. Bentley, Parker, Harris, and Mills are all important players for the Patriots, and their return would be a boost to the team's chances of winning.
